"On Saturday, November 21st we opened a new retail experiment in our studio called Community Shop. It features our own product as well as our collaborations with Alma Allen, E.R. Butler & Co., Heath Ceramics and Robert Lewis as well as pottery by April Napier and Atwater Pottery, leather laptop bags by Clare Vivier, stained glass lanterns by Steve Halterman and Navajo Jewelry by Greybull Nation. For the opening weekend we also invited Free City, Kathryn Bentley, L'Oeil du Vert and Tanya Aguiniga to join us with their product. Everything in the shop is made by human hands in America. We had a great time and it was a success so we decided to keep it going...growing. The store in our studio is now open to the public on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2 - 6 pm or by appointment. And most of the product will be available in our online shop - look out for a new shopping cart in the next few days. In January we plan to open a second Community Shop at the ACE Hotel and Swim Club in Palm Springs...and stay tuned for more. We are feeling good about this one."
