Sometimes I think I still have the emotional maturity of a teenager. Take from that what you will.

I want to live in a Thomas Cole painting.
This is how it works
You're young until you're not
You love until you don't
You try until you can't
You laugh until you cry
You cry until you laugh
And everyone must breathe
Until their dying breath

Here is a win situation for you. I'm lying in bed and its the first day of my period (1st win, this means I'm not pregnant!) so I'm kind of cramping (not much of a win) but my laptop is placed right over the area where it hurts and the heat is actually making me feel better (2nd win). I also read somewhere that if you continuously place your computer on your lap, you might become barren (win for now? lets call that half a win) So 2 and a half wins for me, which isn't bad for a Thursday night.

In other news, my room is a total mess and I have nothing to do tomorrow night (except clean my room I guess) so something please happen, kthnx.

So I totally I got sick this weekend. First I get a job and then of course I get mother-effin-sick. Didn’t stop me from going into work for meeting today though, and yeah, I participated with my nasally voice and in between hushed sneezes I may have said some intelligent stuff. So what? I guess I’m feeling better but the weekend totally suckedddd. Though several things happened this weekend that didn’t:
1) Friday night, which was the last several hours before I plunged into the murky depths of congestion, was fun. And by fun, I mean I drank six Heinekens, even though I’m not partial to the brand, and tried my uncoordinated hand at guitar hero, which is cool because I got drunk and tried something new that didn’t involve me taking off my clothes. Though that’s not to say other people didn’t.
2) Saturday night I was pretty ill but not enough to skip going to a bar with the bf’s mom and her in-laws to celebrate a birthday. That in itself was not that fun, but I did gorge myself on like a million mussels in butter and garlic and that was amazingly fun.
3) Sunday I was pretty much near death but managed to try and play Gears of War2, another new game for me. I managed to kill some monsters, though overall I pretty much sucked, but will count the experience as one that didn’t suck because it took my mind off complaining incessantly about being sick.
So today I feel somewhat better, and after surviving the meeting and the weekend, it felt pretty nice walking down Broad street towards the train filled with more purpose than usual.

So I have this massive cold during which I've forgotten what its like to breath out my nose, and while I was trolling around the Internet, this happened. If only close screen proximity to these guys would somehow act as a decongestant. At least its making me rethink my bias against Jewish men.
