"Acquisition and use of these products are all part of a comprehensive program designed for interpersonal embetterment; The Jejune Method. This method addresses the subject on all scales; microscopic to macroscopic. On the macroscopic side, these products encourage general deconstruction of social modulation, resulting in a heightened probability for civic mutation."

jejune institute

What the Jejune Institute is most celebrated for today is the many advanced technological products and services they have brought to the global marketplace. Through the use of metaphysics, mind sciences, and other nontraditional systems, the Institute has developed an astonishing array of patents, all of which are designed to actualize the latent untapped capabilities of the human species.

"Through the use of these products, coupled with meditation and study of spontaneity, benefits will include surging artistic libido, energy swell, dialectic perception, and neighborly conduct. "If the mutation is to occur it needs to be personally initiated, consciously brought about" says Octavio Colemen, Esq. "It happens on an intimate scale, in a thousand miniscule ways."

"A Man Needs A Woman Or A Man To Be A Man"
Bill Callahan

When you leave, I go into our room
And lay me down on birds of paradise
It's pretty womanly in here!
Roses noting every move
Nothing goes on except what should
A vast legacy of good

cupola table lamp

‘Free and environmentally friendly energy forever and ever. The lamp runs on mud. The metabolism of biological life produces enough electricity to keep a LED lamp burning. The mud is enclosed in various cells. These cells contain copper and zinc that conduct the electricity. The more cells there are, the more electricity they generate. This technique offers a wealth of possibilities. The only thing the lamp needs is a splash of water every now and then.’

(bonnie prince billy...strange form of life... listen here and watch....)

"And a hard way to come into a cabin, into the weather
Into a path walking together
A hard one
"

And a dark little room across the nation, you found myself racing
Forgetting the strange and the hard and the soft kiss
In the dark room

And a strange form of life kicking through windows, rolling on yards
Hitting in loved ones, triggering odds
A strange one

sarah wilmer
"I am influenced very much by music, specifically artists with rich lyrics containing imagery and powerful visuals. Joanna Newsom, The Rachel’s, Smog, and White Magic are a few of the artists I listen to. Dutch and Flemish master paintings of the 16th and 17th centuries bring me great delight, curiosity, inspiration and awe. The stories of Banana Yoshimoto and Edgar Allen Poe slay me every time. The work of Edward Gorey is a fantastic source of joy and fantasy while the films of David Lynch, Dario Argento and Jodorowsky excite, influence and intrigue me. Honestly though, my cat Tubs is my biggest inspiration. "

(woke up this morning to a great article in the current artforum on one of my favorite painters. his work makes me want to paint, and experiment.)

"I really like this poem that Eve Hesse wrote about Sol Lewitt's work. It's about her seeing emotion and feeling in his artwork, and calling him out on his reputed coldness and the whole minimalist anti-Expressionism. It is just about perspectives and again, the idea of allowing things to exist in different ways in a kind of fluid continuum. or that what is important is that things can and do exist in different places, and this doesn't detract from either."

angelo donghia.

"A designer who may be termed either a traditional modernist or a modern traditionalist, depending on the particular project (or on one’s point of view), Angelo Donghia was a man of many talents, and several business. At a time when fashion designers were beginning to introduce ‘signature collections,’ he was the first, and for a time the only, interior designer to put his name on a production furniture line. One of this most notable and much-cited innovation was to use ordinary men’s suiting for upholstery and wall covering, earning him the sobriquet ‘the grey flannel prince.’
